12 weeks/ 3 month letter

Dear Baby L...
We can't believe how big you are getting. The last time you went to the doctor you weighed 12lbs! You go back to the Dr in a week for your next shots, and we are looking forward to seeing just how big you have gotten. You smile when mommy and daddy talk to you, which makes us so happy. You also have started cooing at us when we talk to you. We think you are going to be quite the talker, like your mommy. You have been pushing up on your hands when you lay on your tummy. You are holding your head up really well and think you are big enough to sit up even though you aren't quite ready. You are able to focus on people and things more, so you find your toys more interesting. You love to hit at your toys that hang on your play mat and occasionally grab at them. You are beginning to enjoy car rides and baths... Thank goodness! You really only throw a fuss when you are hungry or overly tired. You are wearing 3-6 months, some are a little big, but you are growing so fast we want you to be able to wear them more than once. You absolutely love to eat and are eating about 3-4 oz every 3-4 hrs. You have started to sleep between 6-7 hours a night, which makes mommy and daddy super happy. You have also started taking a few naps in your crib and we will be transitioning into your crib at night over the next couple weeks. You are enjoying going to papa's house while mommy and daddy go to work. We are looking forward to see how much you learn this next month.

Today we traveled back to Vegas, and again Baby L did so well for the long car ride! We had a wonderful trip full of food, laughs, family, and love...but now it's time to get back to our normal routine!

Another day full of meeting family.... Grama V made some appetizers and we were able to enjoy some food and family.

Today while daddy worked, mommy and Grama v took baby L to visit more family. We were able to see great Grama Ruth's new house and have lunch with her and great auntie Sheri!

11 weeks 3 days/ baby L's first Easter

We got to spend Baby L's first Easter in Reno, with her cousin, auntie,uncle, and grandparents. Thanks to Q and Hillarie we had some delicious food. Baby L got spoiled by the Easter bunny, her auntie hill uncle Q and cousin H, Grama v and grampa d, Grama Mary, papa, auntie Alyssa and uncle chris and great grampa and Grama!

Today grandma got baby L and her cousin matching outfits and took them to have pictures taken. Baby L decided she was exhausted and slept through most of the pictures, but we were still able to get some cute ones! Daddy went golfing with the guys and then we hung out with more family. Baby L got to meet some new family members and see some she had met before.

Yep baby L was super excited to get on the road to visit her family! We drove to Reno and she did great! She slept A LOT, like pretty much the entire 6 hours! She was quite the little traveler! We were so happy she did so well because we love our vacations. We got to Reno and she was able to see grandma and grandpa and meet her cousin, auntie, and uncle for the first time!

Well today baby L got to meet her auntie Bec (see pic below) And auntie Leanna! We enjoyed yummy pizza and mommy loved catching up with her friends! We also did some cleaning and packing for our upcoming trip. Also, thanks to auntie Bec we didn't have to drag Kena along too!

Today was a short day at work and then a cleaning frenzy at home!! Baby L decided she would nap and play by herself, so she didn't have to help mommy clean!

Today is the beginning of spring break, so I am only working a couple days this week. So today Baby L and I took grampa to have cataract surgery. The surgery was quick and easy and baby L was such a good girl waiting! Then mommy and daddy got to go get haircuts, Yay!

Wont be long before baby L goes to visit Dee for some hair taming herself.. Haha


Baby L is ready for uncles Dave and Chris to help teach her how to play guitar!! I was laughing so hard when I saw her hands in this pic. Guitar player, ballroom dancer... We shall see!!

Today was Baby L's second day at the sitter, and she again had a really good day!! This makes it much easier for mommy to leave her and go to work!

Just kickin back..



Baby L has also found had hands and arms and loves sucking on them. Sometimes this means she's hungry and other times it's just for pure entertainment.

Today was mommy's first day back to work. Mommy had an easy day and Baby L did very well for her first day with grampa daycare. They played, laughed, talked, sang and of course ate and slept A LOT!

Today we were able to go to the park to celebrate our good friend's (flower girl in our wedding) 6Th birthday. Baby L did very well, she got to meet new friends, see her other friends, and of course eat and sleep. She even slept through Rapunzel's special appearance. It was a great birthday celebration that we followed up with watching the Masters Golf tournament.
