Baby L had her Halloween party at gymboree today, and she had a blast! It was so fun to see all the little ones dressed up and having such a good time. We then enjoyed dinner at grampas, and Baby L was able to stay with him so I could get an oil change.

Gabe had to take quick trip to new orleans for work, so we dropped him off at the airport this morning. Baby L and I went to Gymboree, then she went to Grampa's while I went home and for some things cleaned. Also, I found her some really nice, inexpensive toys so I was excited to get them home and cleaned up. Later, that afternoon Baby L and I went to a safe trick or treat with Auntie Andrea and the kids. Andrea and I both thought it might be lame, but to our surprise it was crowded and a lot of stores participated. Baby L came home with an entire bowl full of candy, most of which will likely go right to mommys hips!

Happy Nevada Day, I'll enjoy my day off! I was going to take Baby L to music class, but she took a longer nap than expected, yay! So, instead we went to the farm down from our house. Baby L got to take more pumpkin pics, look at the animals, and buy mommy and grampa caramel apples. Gabe and I were finally able to get our haircut, thank goodness for Dee! We then enjoyed dinner at islands, and came home to watch the world series.

38 weeks

I had the day off today, so we went to the pumpkin patch with our friends!! Baby L loved hanging out with friends, playing in the pumpkins, and just being outside. We are so glad Auntie Andrea and the kids joined us for all the fun!

8 month letter

Dear Baby L,
Well better late than never, with your letter. You are actually 8 1/2 months, I promise I'll do better next month!

Wow, what a month it's been, you have been teething forever. You finally got your first tooth at 7.5 months and your second one just erupted over the past weekend!

Things you love: Makena, Baths, Food, IPhones, remotes, Blocks, link rings, magazines. You also love your green doggie blanket (we just started giving it to you in your crib) and pooh bear when you sleep

Things you dislike: being told no, people raising their voice when you are into something you shouldn't be, noise from a vacuum or hair dryer, afternoon naps.

You are walking around the couch, coffee tables, etc and becoming more brave by the day!

You have enjoyed going to gymboree class. As your love for climbing on/up things has increased, so has your curiosity. You are trying to reach up and grab things, even if it's still not in your reach.

We were lucky enough to have some visitors including gma, gpa, uncle Brian, g-gma, and g-gpa! Also, you were able to attend a birthday party, get 7 month pics, and enjoy some BBQ's.

You are growing like a weed, wearing mostly 12-18 month clothes. You have been waking up multiple times a night, and drinking bottles. We are hoping this is either a growth spurt or a teething issue, as we really enjoyed when you were giving us 10-11 hrs of sleep straight.

We look forward to the month ahead, as the holiday season is fast approaching.

We are so happy to have you in our lives, and you bring us more joy each day!

After work today, Baby L and I had lots of playtime.

Happy girl, just woke up from her nap when I got to grampas!


If you look close you can see her 2 little teeth!


I'd say she enjoyed her dinner is an under statement, what do you think?
Roast, sweet potato, green beans, scallop potatoes and rice cereal...yah she can eat!

We started our morning with homemade pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and then a walk around the block!
Love these muffins..


Then we relaxed, had some homemade chicken nachos, and watched some football.

That afternoon we headed to the Muscari's for pizza and pumpkin carving. We didn't quite finish Baby L's pumpkin, hopefully in the next couple of days.

Baby L had gym class today, and was trying to climb up all kinds of things! She was exhausted after class, but fought her nap once we were home. We had grampa for dinner, since tomorrow we have plans.

Her hair was cracking me up when I went to get her out if the car..


Finally fell asleep, just like daddy remote in hand..
