25 weeks 2 days

Today we I walked Baby L around the park while daddy played hockey. She took a little nap in her stroller, and was ready to play when we got home. We played and she napped and then we took her shopping for new pjs. Almost all of her jammies are too small :(. They just opened up a children's place store about 5 minutes from our house, can I say dangerous. We hit the sale rack and got her some cute little outfits for camping for 2.99, my kind of shopping! Of course we bought her the jammies we went for and who would have known our little miss needed 12 months!! The 12 months fit her pretty perfectly, just a teeny weeny bit long and yes she will only be 6 months next week.

Such a happy girl, her little face lights up every time she sees Makena! Thak goodness Makena is such a good dog, because if someone was pulling my ears and hair all day I don't think I would be so patient.

Baby L is a teething machine. None of her teeth have popped through but she definitely has red gums, a little crankier than normal, and chewing on everything in site. Only a matter of time before she gets her first tooth, then mommy will be OCD about brushing, poor girl doesn't know what she's in for. Sorry your mommy is a dental hygienist and works on kids every day and sees the after math or poor oral hygiene.

I think bath time may be her new favorite thing to do, sometimes she plays in there for 20-30 mins! She loves to grab at the water from the faucet and of course chew on her toys!

Today I had the day off ( yes, summer is slow) so Baby L and I enjoyed shopping and story time at the library. She absolutely loves story time and watching all the kids! We then checked out some books because mommy is tired of reading the same stories over and over.

Waiting for breakfast

We just ADORE this little girl

Cousin H was always on the go, so it was hard to get a clear pic of her.

Another day off, but today was house cleaning day. We are having auntie, uncle, and cousin visit this weekend and we couldn't be more excited! I also bought baby L a couple new toys, since she is sitting up ( for the most part) she needed some new toys to spark her interest and a walker.

Her toes just barely touch but she can push herself backwards a little...

Today I did my Costco shopping and got an oil change, while baby L hung with grampa. It was my lucky day as I won a free oil change, thank you Terribles for saving me $46. Well deserved after spending $100 with them the day before getting the serpentine belt and cabin air filter.

We were able to enjoy one last lunch today at Hyman's Seafood. We got the biggest shrimp po boys you have ever seen. Then we walked downtown Charleston through the slave market. It was a wonderful way to end an amazing trip. We Were very sad to say goodbye to Grama, auntie, and uncle but it was time to get back to reality. Baby L did awesome on the flight home, she slept most of the second flight. We are so happy she has mommy and daddy's love for travel! We miss and love you all! Thanks for letting us dirty your house, and interrupt your daily routines for a week and a half! We hope you will all visit us in Vegas soon!

Today was our last full day in South Carolina. We headed to Huntington beach to have a picnic, walk around, and look at the birds and gators. It was so nice, Baby L took a nap in her stroller. We then did a little shopping and then headed home to relax. Then all the kids headed to Buzz's Roost for some appetizers and cocktails. We then had a great steak dinner at home, and said our goodbyes to Aunt Lois, Kim, and Heather.

Snoozing on our walk at the park

Aw...Baby L and Auntie Alyssa
