Today we were lucky enough to have our good friend and owner of socialbutterflyphoto.com take our Christmas pics. Really if you haven't checked out her website, trust me and go there NOW, she is amazing!! After our little photoshoot, gabe and baby L relaxed at home while I went to target.

Yay..it's finally Friday, and boy has it felt like a long week. After work tonight I was able to pick gabe up at the airport, hooray!

9 month letter

Dear Baby L...

We can't believe 9 months has come and gone, but we are having a blast with you. You are getting quite the personality now, and throwing little fits when you don't get your way( must get that from daddy too... Haha)

At your 9 month check-up you weighed 22lbs-93 percentile and were29.5in- 97 percentile. You were very healthy and we couldn't be more thankful!

You still love to eat, and are pretty much sampling everything mommy and daddy are eating. We often joke that we aren't sure who is worse begging for our food, you or Kena.

Major Milestone this month: you started walking at 9.5 months (almost to the day)

Talking: you say dada all the time and something similar to yanya (maybe your version of mama)

Favorite Toys: books, balls, blocks, play kitchen and anything that has music
Since we put up our Christmas decorations, you love all the musical snowmen that sing and dance

We think it is so cute when you sleep, you have to be touching your green blankie or your pooh bear. You are starting to sleep better at night about 7pm-6am most nights, which mommy really appreciates!

You are constantly on the go, and always keeping us on our toes. We love snuggling up with you at the end of the day, and let you watch Angelina ballerina on the sprout channel.

Giving kisses or telling secrets...


It's not quite as easy to pose you with your doggie anymore


Thank you for bringing such love, laughter, and joy to our lives!


We love you more than Starbucks and desserts combined!

As I was dropping odd Baby L at grampa's today, there was some snow falling. Obviously it didn't stick and there wasn't tons for us to play in, but for Vegas it was pretty cool to see.
