26 weeks 2 days

Today, Baby L still sounded terrible so we started her on the antibiotic. However, she has been a pretty happy baby and playing and eating like normal. I ran a couple errands today while she stayed with daddy.

Today Baby L had her 6 month check up, and he wanted to see if she was feeling better. Dr. Decided not to give her her shots as she was not quite up to par. He thought she was getting better but the congestion in her chest made him a little weary. He gave us an antibiotic and said if she didn't sound better by Sunday go ahead and start it, as her cold could be turning into something worse like bronchitis. However, other than that she is doing very well.

25 weeks 5 days

Well after a rough night of little sleep for Baby L and I, I decided I would take her to the doctor. She had a slight fever and her first cold. Dr. Said just give her Tylenol for fever and discomfort and make sure she gets rest and fluids. She was originally scheduled for her 6 month check up on Friday. He wanted us to keep that appointment and being her back and see how she is doing. He said her ears were a little red but didn't think it was an ear infection, but if she wasn't on the upswing then that may be a possibility. If she is better then he may go ahead and give her her vaccines. I think it is harder on mommy when baby has a cold. She sure got lots of love, snuggles and hugs the last few days!

Even though she didn't feel good, she still managed to give me a few smiles!

Today Baby L and I dropped daddy off at the airport and then got to spend the day together. Baby L started sneezing and coughing a bit this morning but it was hard to tell if it was teething related or a cold. We decided to meet Andrea and the kiddos at the park. Baby L loved watching all the kids run around and dipping her toes in the splash pad. We were able to enjoy a nice lunch and hang out for a bit. We then went to grampas for an early dinner later that day.

Well poor baby's congestion kept her and I both from getting a good nights rest!
